Load up your zeppelin and don’t forget those brassy bits, today we’re going Steampunk! I have been enthralled by anything Steampunk for years, and I doubt I’ll ever get over it. Its influence can be found in just about every medium; in books, comics, movies, television, music, fashion, exterior & interior design (check out these marvelous Steampunk’d items); it has even managed its way into some of the highly anticipated video games. Point is, it’s just about everywhere, and I hope it keeps its place in the subculture spotlight. Check out this cool letter between author K.W. Jeter and critic Faren Miller which outlines the “birth” of the term. While you’re at it, take a gander at the collection of Steampunky men’s items I put together below.
